EIAS of the New  General Prefectural Prefectorial Hospital of Lefkada (EIAS 292):

This is the EIAS of the new General Prefectural Hospital of Lefkada, with 120 bed capacity. The area in which the hospital will be constructed is 1,5ha and it is situated on the southwestern part of the city. The total floor area of the buildings to be constructed is 15.160 m2. The study examined and evaluated the environmental impacts from the construction and operation of the project and appropriate measures to tackle these effects were suggested.

Organic Waste Management Unit in Pissona area of the Dirfion Municipality, Evia county Prefecture (EIAS 293):

The study concerns the construction and operation of the aforementioned facility that will compost primarily waste poultry and secondarily other agricultural waste of the region, to produce organic fertilizers. The processing capacity of the incoming current of solid waste is 23.000tn annually. From this incoming current, approximately 14.000tn on average of organic fertilizer will be produced. The study examined and evaluated the environmental impacts from the construction and operation of the project.

Project for the connection of the Wind Farms of Crete Island with the High Voltage Center of Acharnai, Attica Prefecture (EIAS 294):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the construction and operation of an electricity transmission line of 800Km length to connect 39 wind farms of 1002MW installed power that are located in Crete Island with the High Voltage Center of Acharnai, Attica. The transmission line crosses Crete Island from East to the west. In the area of Kissamos in western Crete the line stretches undersea from Crete to Peloponnese. In Peloponnese the line becomes aerial again and stretches along eastern Peloponnese and south of Attica to reach at Acharnai. In the study, the environmental impacts of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.

Wind Farms of 104MW total installed power in Heraclio Prefecture (EIAS 295):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the construction and operation of 4 wind farms and a medium voltage transmission line in Heraclio Prefecture, Crete Island. The total installed power of the 4 farms is 104MW and the total net energy production is estimated 351GWh. The project involves the installation of 52 wind turbines of 2MW power each. In the study, the environmental impacts of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.

Wind Farm of 11,5 MW total installed power at “Trikorfo” and “Karfia” positions of Marmari Municipality, Evia Prefecture (EIAS 296 A & B):

These studies constitute the EIpAS and the EIAS of the construction and operation of a wind farm in the aforementioned location. The project involves the installation of 5 wind turbines of 2,3MW power each. The total net energy production of the farm is estimated 47GWh. In the study, the environmental impacts of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the construction and operation of 11 wind farms and a medium voltage transmission line in Lasithi Prefecture, Crete Island. The total installed power of the 11 farms is 268MW and the total net energy production is estimated 766,5GWh. The project involves the installation of 134 wind turbines of 2MW power each. In the study, the environmental impacts of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.
