Arrangement of Mikro Katerini Stream in Elefsina Municipality (EIA 309):

This study  concerns the arrangement  of stream Mikro Katerni , including the settlement of the natural bed of the stream with a closed rectangular 2,5x2, 5m culvert  from reinforced concrete for a total length of 496,4 m. The road-crossing structures, (expansion or replacement of existing) for a total length of approximately 48m were also studied. The  connection with the natural river bed upstream will  be 6m in width. The proposed interventions,  as documented below, are sufficient to discharge a  peak flood of 31m3 / s, which corresponds to a return period of 50 years. The  river basin extends to 1016, 5 ha.

Arrangement of Aharnes stream  (KANAPITSA) in the prefecture of Attica from KP 0 +000 (estuary to River Kifissos) TO KP+12+000 (EIA 308):

The study concerns the arrangement of Aharnes stream  (KANAPITSA) in the prefecture of Attica from KP 0 +000 (estuary to River Kifissos) up to KP+12+000 (in Thrakomakedones and Acharnon (Menidi) area, on the southern edge of the mountains of Parnitha), ie  for a length of 12,6 km. This is a major flood protection project, given the frequent flooding in the region. The projects includes arranging the natural bed of the stream in sections (total length of 7,5 km out of the  total 12,6 km) with an open intersection with gabions for the most part. The rest is arranged by a culvert (approximately 2,3 km) while approximately 1km of these 2,3Km has already been arranged and passes through a culvert.  There are no interventions  proposed in the protected areas of Mount Parnitha, where the natural stream bed remains unchanged in its physical  form.

Reconstruction of coastal road in St.Constantine (New National Road 1) (EIAS 303)

RECONSTRUCTION OF COASTAL ROAD IN ST. CONSTANTINE (NEW NATIONAL ROAD 1)  FROM UNDERPASS 45 I/C UP TO  LATOMIO I/C  (EIAS 303):

The study of a road section with a total length of 3,6 km, concerns the reconstruction and adaptation of NNR1 the new traffic conditions. In its final form, it will function as an urban road  with low relative speeds of vehicles,  controlled walkways and appropriate urban nodes (where signposted). The road layout was based on the existing layout, adapted to the urban environment using softer geometric elements (profiles,cross sections ), not separating the urban space from the coast.

Delineation and stream regulation in section of Kalentzi stream (EIAS 302):

The purpose of the study is to assess the environmental impacts of the projects, which include the delineation-regulation of the natural stream bed in Kalentzi of Marathonas municipality. The total length of the stream is 495 m while the total length of its basin is 400 acres. The study examined and evaluated the environmental impacts from the construction and operation of the project and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were proposed.

Local solid waste transfer station of Rafina Municipality (EIA 300):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of that project in the Municipality of Rafina in Perivolakia area. The ongoing licensing LWTS has nominal capacity of 120t/d, however, even in peak season, the waste transfer does not exceed 30t/d. Annually, the transferred waste quantities do not exceed 10.000t.

Construction and operation of a small hydroelectric plant on the river bed of Smokovitiko stream (EIAS 284)

Construction and operation of a small hydroelectric plant of 1,8MW on the river bed of Smokovitiko stream in Karditsa Prefecture (EIAS 284):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the construction and operation of a Small Hydroelectric Plant of 1,8 MW maximum net power, on the river bed of Smokovitiko in the Prefecture of Karditsa. The plant is of Run – Of the River (ROR) type without reservoir. The annual net production of the plant has been estimated at 4,65 GWh. In the study, the environmental impacts of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.
