Canalisation of stream Haidari (Chaidarorema) from K.P 1 +800 to K.P. 3 +540 (EIAS 134 & 134b):

These studies constitute the EIpAS and the EIAS of the canalisation work of Chaidarorema from K.P 3 540 to K.P. 1 +800 at length of about 1750 m. The environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures to tackle these effects were suggested.

Water supply of the east side of Karditsa Prefecture from Smokovo Reservoir (EIA 135):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the project. Its subject is the design of water supply works to service the settlements of the east side of Karditsa Prefecture from the waters of the Smokovo reservoir . The project will serve 53 settlements (estimated design population~ 55,000 inhabitants). In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures to tackle these effects were suggested while a qualified assessment of the influence of the project to the water balance in the reservoir and the surrounding area was also conducted.

Road ''Stavrodromi- Vyziki - Tropaia''(EIAS 136):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the project ''Staurodromi- Vyziki - Tropaia'' from the interchange with the Provincial Road Tripoli - Vitina -- Lagada - Arcadia Prefecture up to Tropaia. The aim of the project is to bypass the three villages that the existing road crosses (Staurodromi - Vyziki - Tropaia), and to contribute to the overall improvement - upgrading of the existing road to a provincial one with modern and safe technical characteristics.

Construction and Operation of housing estate named TRIKALA VI (EIAS 137 & 137B):

This study constitutes the EIpAS and the EIAS of the project implemented by State Housing Agency (SHA) at the location Sotiras in the municipality of Trikkaia. The study concerns the construction and operation of the settlement together with the corresponding infrastructure and landscaping works in a land of 6,7 ha.

The project includes 184 houses, which will accommodate 1,000 people. In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project, including the impact of the project to the infrastructure network of the wider region, were examined and evaluated at a primary level and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.

This study constitutes the EIAS for the construction and operation of the road "Corinth-Patras", as a modern motorway meeting the European standards (TEN-T Highway) which was planned to be constructed as a concession project.

The design of the project includes the creation of a modern motorway according to European standards (design speed 120Km/h), the construction of interchanges, toll stations and all necessary technical works (culverts, bridges, tunnels, flyovers, underpasses etc), environmental works, hydraulic works and auxiliary works to safeguard connections between neighbouring villages. The area of the project is in Peloponnese region and specifically along the Prefectures of Achaia and Corinth. The development of the project is generally parallel to and near the shoreline of the two Prefectures. The total length of the project comes up to 119 km. In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate mitigation measures and monitoring programs were proposed and implemented. Several additional studies (e.g visual assessment study, noise study, environmental baseline study etc were also implemented.

Construction and Operation of Katerini’s New Prefectorial General Hospital (ΕIAS 139):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the New Prefectorial General Hospital of Katerini. The land in which the hospital is going to be constructed, has a total surface area of 6,9ha, and is located northwest of the village of New Keramidi Municipality of Katerini, at a distance of ~ 4.5 km from the town of Katerini and upon the provincial road Katerini – Arona.

The New Prefectural Hospital of Katerini will have a total capacity of 227 beds and a total floor area of 25.500 m2 of which 7.700 m2 will be on the ground floor while the rest will be arranged in 6 levels (from -2 to +3). In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested in addition to the identification of a general framework for the operation of hospitals with regard to environmental protection.
