National Road Κaterini - Αg. Dimitrios Section Α (ΕIAS 140):

This study constitutes the EIpAS and the EIAS of the first section of the improvement and widening project of the existing National Road (N.R.) Katerini – Ag.Dimitrios, in the Prefecture of Pieria. The National Road 13 Katerini - Agios Dimitrios is the first part of the road Katerini – Elassona of total length 40 Km, which connects the Prefecture of Pieria with the Prefectures of Larissa and Kozani. The EIAS refers to the first section, namely to the section Katerini - Foteina, of length 12,8 km. In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project were examined and evaluated and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested. 

Due to the crossing of the road from districts of significant archaeological interest, the necessary changes were made in the design, while specific measures were also proposed to deal with the impacts on valuable topological features of the area which is run through by the road.

Expansion – reformation of the Prefectural General Hospital – Filiates (EIAS 141):

This study constitutes the EIpAS for the expansion and reformation projects of the Prefectural General Hospital. The existing hospital is built on the outskirts of the city of Filiates at a natural plateau of a mountain and densely planted area. The total capacity of the new hospital will be 127 beds (instead of 86 beds which were available today), while the additional section will have a floor area of 6.056 m2.

Construction and Operation of housing estate named Kerkyra V (EIAS 143):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the project implemented by the Workers' Housing Organization (OEK) in the Agios Ioannis in Corfu island.

Construction and Operation of housing estate named Velestino I (EIAS 144):

This study constitutes the EIpAS of the project implemented by SHA in Velestino of Magnesia Prefecture. The study involves the construction and operation of the settlement along with the necessary infrastructure in a land of 1,5ha. Within the land, 40 residential buildings with a two-storey roof are going to be constructed. The construction of a playground area, car parks as well as public spaces is also forseen. The rest of the services to the residents will be provided by the community of Velestino. The settlement will meet the urgent housing needs of 40 families or 200 people.

In the study, the environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project, including the impact of the project to the infrastructure network of the wider region, were examined and evaluated at a primary level and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested.

Construction and Operation of housing estate named VOLOS VII (EIAS 145 & 145B):

These studies constitute the EIpAS and the EIAS of the project implemented by SHA in the location Skatzopourni Fytokou in the municipality of Nea Ionia, Magnesia Prefecture. The study, as stated in the title, involves the construction and operation of a housing estate with the necessary infrastructure and landscaping works in a land of 7,3 ha that is located south of the village Fytokou  outside the limits of the approved city development plan of 1987. Within the land, 146 houses in two-storey buildings with roof are going to be constructed.  The construction of a playground area, car parks is also planned.

The other services to the residents will be provided by the city of Volos. The settlement will meet the urgent housing needs of 146 families or 790 people. The environmental impacts caused by the construction and operation of the project, including the impact of the project to the infrastructure network of the wider region, were examined and evaluated at a primary level and appropriate measures in order to tackle these effects were suggested
