Amendment of DAET of the “Faliro Delta Revamp Project” (JMD 173968/21.07.2014). (EIAS 389)

The study concerns the amendment of DAET of the "Faliro Delta Revamp Project", concerning the projects of alignment of the river Ilissos and the construction of the new Ilissos bridge over Ethnarchou Makariou road. The necessity of modifying the design of the alignment projects comes as, in the hydraulic study of the project, the abutments of the TRAM bridge were not taken into account and therefore the studied cross section is not sufficient for safe flood routing.

Renewal study of DAET 23674/3777/30.6.2011 for the Clay Quarry and associated works- KARTELIAS ANTONIOS & Co. in place “REMA GIANNI”, T.K. Ampelochori, municipality of Thiva, regional unit of Beotoia. (EIAS–388)

The study concerns the renewal of the Decision of Appproving Environmental Terms of a private, environmentally approved clay quarry and its associated works. The clay quarry and its associated works are located at the "Rema Giannis" site of Local Community. Ambelochori, about 2km west of the village of Ambelochori and about 430m south of the Thebes-Sarantis Provincial Road. The connection of the site with the above-mentioned road network is via a rural road of approximately 500 m.

Environmental Impact Assessment Study of the project “Side Toll Stations of the Malgara I/C(L18) and Axios– Chalastra I/C (L19)” (ΕΙΑ 387)

Section 7.0 of the Egnatia Highway, has a total length of approximately 23.0 km, with the start being at the end of the Kleidi highway (K.P. 289+500) and ending at the beginning of the Kalohori highway (Κ1) (K.P. 312+170). It has a cross section of 3 traffic lanes and 1 emergency lane in each direction with a dividing strip, full access control via interchanges/overpasses & roundabouts/ junctions and a network of sideways and service roads. The present project concerns the construction and operation within the above section of 4 Side Toll Stations, of which:

• 2 under the named "Side Toll Station of Malgara", in the area of Malgara highway (Χ.Θ 297+400 of section 7.0 of Egnatia Highway)

• 2 named "Side Toll Station of Axios", in the area of development of the Axios Highway and in particular in Chalastra roundabout (Χ.Θ. 303 + 500 of section 7.0 of Egnatia Highway)

Study for the Amendment of DAET of several road sections of Egnatia motorway for the siting of new toll stations (4 dossiers) (EIAS 383-386)

• Frontal Toll Stations in Siatista

• 2 Side Toll Stations at East Siatistas I/C &

• 2 Side Toll Stations at Kalamia I/C

d. Study for the Amendment of DAET of Egnatia Motorway Road Section at Panagia I/C. (ΕΙΑS 386): Panagia I/C is located on K.P 120+800 of the Egnatia Motorway. In this section new Toll Stations are foreseen by the JMD ΔΝΣγ/οικ.35897/ΦΝ 393 (GG 1867/Β/2017), as follows:

one Side toll Station (Entrance L07) on branch 2 (K.P 0+500) of Panagia I/C. The Toll Station will be of light type with removable elements and two traffic lanes.

Environmental Impact Assessment of the project “Mounting/Fixation, restoration, reconstruction, highlighting of Plaka Bridge in river Arachthos of the perfecture of Ioannina” (ΕΙΑS 382Α, 382Β)

The present study concerns the environmental licensing of the future (not yet implemented) phases required for the completion of the project of fixing, restoration, reconstruction and highlighting of the Plaka bridge in river Arachthos, as well as its accompanying works for the establishment of a construction site, the creation of a temporary construction site road and the extraction of aggregates from two areas, for use in restoration works on the bridge.

Environmental Impact Assesment Study of the project “Stabilization and Hydraulic works/measures in the area of embankment G4 and the tunnel S3 section Lefkopetra – Veroia (5.2) of Egnatia Motorway”. (ΕΙΑ 381Α, 381Β)

The present EIA examines the project for the construction of landslide stabilization works (stabilizing counterweight) and the respective hydraulic works in the area of the embankment G4 (200m length and maximum slope height 45m) and the tunnel S3 (length 250m), in section "Lefkopetra - Veria 5.2), of Egnatia Motorway.

The purpose of the EIA is to authorize the landslide stabilization works in the area of the embankment G4 and the tunnel S3 along with the projects of alignment of streams according to the studies implemented. Moreover the borrow pits for the implementation projects are examined followed with appropriate environmental assessment and mitigation measures and proposals for their formation and rehabilitation.
